Take it easy... it happens to all of us. You'll start to like your characters in about a decade or so, after you've forgotten a bit of the trauma.
Here's something I wrote to a friend about my main character during Nano:
I'm sick of writing. My story is all crap. Now I understand why the author didn't write an ending to it. She got sick of the main character. I used to love the character but when I started writing I realized how silly she was. It got better when I decided to piss her off. I think I outgrew her at least a decade ago.
